SavingsHunter

About Us

We believe every American deserves to know what they're entitled to.

Government benefit programs exist to help millions of people. The problem is that most of them are maddeningly hard to find, understand, and apply for. SavingsHunter was built to change that.

How it started

The idea came from a simple frustration. A family member — sharp, tech-savvy, perfectly capable of navigating the internet — spent weeks trying to figure out whether they qualified for a Medicare Savings Program. The official websites were confusing. The eligibility rules were buried in government PDFs. The phone lines had hour-long waits.

They eventually found the answer. But the process was exhausting, and it shouldn't have been. That moment made one thing clear: the information exists, but it's not accessible. Not in plain English. Not organized by who needs it most. Not updated regularly as programs change.

SavingsHunter was our answer to that problem.

What we do

We track, research, and explain government programs that help Americans save money on healthcare, food, housing, energy bills, medications, and more. Every article we publish is written to answer the real questions people ask — not the questions that make government websites look comprehensive.

Our coverage spans Medicare and Medicaid updates, SNAP and food assistance, LIHEAP energy relief, Social Security changes, housing vouchers, prescription discount programs, and dozens of lesser-known federal and state initiatives that quietly put money back in people's pockets — if they know to apply.

We publish new articles daily, always checking that the information reflects current program rules and income thresholds.

Why a subscription?

The core of SavingsHunter is free, and always will be. You can read any article, search any topic, and browse any category without paying anything.

A subscription unlocks the layer on top of that: personalized alerts when programs you care about change, early access to new guides, a curated weekly digest delivered to your inbox, and priority answers to questions submitted through our contact form.

We keep it affordable by design. The goal isn't revenue maximization — it's sustainability. A small number of subscribers allows us to keep the team running, the content fresh, and the site free for everyone else.

Who's behind SavingsHunter?

SavingsHunter is operated by Lead512 LLC, a small company based in Austin, Texas. We specialize in information products that help people navigate complex systems — healthcare, benefits, finance.

We're not a government agency, and we're not affiliated with any insurance company or benefits provider. We have no financial interest in which programs you apply for. Our only job is to make sure you have the information you need.
